I'd literally move back to Dunfermline crossgates just to be Dr downies patient again got moved area n Lost crossgates can't talk highly enough of frank been three years since I left brilliant Dr took my epilepsy serious my mental health liased with my old drs got me started on meds I was on they checked my asthma review he referred me to western to nuro and Queen Margaret referrals came in within days a very competent Dr who also worked out of hours thanks for treating me good these kind of caring drs hard to come by little bit of patience for the drs there stretched PS found reception staff n nurses fairly reasonable too one of best three surgeries in fife I found
Dont write reviews but this place is shocking. My wife was told she needs to phone before 8 in the morning on the day to get an appointment. After advising that she works at this time all week and wouldnt be able to call, to which the receptionist told her its ''not her problem''. Poorly run.
What can I say there is never an appointment available even if you book 6 weeks in advance, you can't order a prescription over the phone you have to go into the surgery to order it, unfortunately that's not always possible to do if you work the same hour that the surgery is open as a result of this my son was unable to continue with the medication he needed. I don't find the staff very helpful or friendly and I certainly wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone.
